Order an ImageHarry Whitney Treat, prominent Seattle businessman and horse lover, drove his carriage pulled by four horses from Loyal Farm to a horse show in Vancouver, British Columbia. He set a record time of four days, five hours and thirteen minutes for the 160-mile journey. This night photo shows a crowd of onlookers greeting Treat's carriage in Mount Vernon.
