Prop from Almost Live! "Pout Paddle," 1991
This prop was used for a fake commercial on the Seattle television comedy show Almost Live! Making fun of beauty products marketed to women, the “Pout Paddle” promises fuller (swollen) lips by simply hitting them repeatedly with a paddle. Almost Live! aired on KING5 from 1984 to 1999, with this sketch airing in1991. This prop was donated by cast member Tracey Conway who wrote and starred in the sketch.
