These props were used for a fake dog food commercial on the Seattle comedy show Almost Live! The sketch pokes fun at products that emphasize the benefits of food that is unprocessed and all-natural and then takes it to an extreme. Each can of dog food--one is "Raccoon Crunch" and the other is "Nacho Possom"--advertises to contain an actual live animal. The prop squirrel was rigged to jump out of one of the cans of dog food and then zip around on a wire while chased by a dog. These were donated by cast member Tracey Conway who wrote and starred in the sketch. Almost Live! aired on KING5 from 1984 to 1999, with this sketch airing in 1993.
