University of Washington rowing sweater, owned by Norman A. Turay, ca. 1937

This University of Washington sweater belonged to Norman A. Turay who rowed from 1936-1938. As a member of the junior varsity team, he rowed against the 1936 varsity team which would win the gold medal at the Olympics. The sweater was made in Seattle by the Octoneck Knitting Co.
