Bill Nye (b. 1955) “The Science Guy” raised the 12 flag at the Seahawks’ October 29, 2023 game against the Cleveland Browns. That game also saw the debut of 90s throwback uniforms for the Seahawks, and so this jersey is in that style as well. Nye grew up in Washington D.C. but moved to Seattle in the late 1970s. The TV show “Bill Nye the Science Guy” was filmed and produced in Seattle from 1993-1999.
