Order an ImageJim McKenna was a writer for the Seattle comedy TV show Almost Live! in the earliest years of the show. Almost Live! aired on KING5 in Seattle from 1984-1999. During the time McKenna was working for the show Ross Shafer was the host and it had a talk show format, similar to a local version of the Tonight Show. Later McKenna and his wife Erren Gottlieb were producers and co-creators of the Bill Nye the Science Guy show.
