Abstract wooden sculpture made by Everett DuPen, ca. 1950-2000
Order an ImageThis abstract wooden sculpture is the work of Everett DuPen (1912 – 2005). He was best known for figurative pieces created in a wide variety of materials, including terra cotta, stone, wood, and bronze. DuPen was a member of the UW Art Faculty for 38 years, and was a friend and mentor to his many students including glass artist Dale Chihuly and bronze artist Georgia Gerber. His work can be found in many museums, private collections, churches, and libraries.
