Red royal orb "Rainier 15," owned by Paul Bigley, ca. 1980s-2010s
This item belonged to Paul Bigley who was active with the Imperial Sovereign Court of Seattle and Rainier Empire, an LGBTQ+ organization which raises money for charity, organizes a series of galas and formal balls, and annually selects a royal court to preside over the events. It is part of International Imperial Court System, founded in San Francisco in 1965, now one of the largest LGBTQ organizations in the world. This royal orb was homemade using a bottle for Royale Deluxe Chambord as the base.
