This signed hockey stick was used by goalie Bev Bentley who played for the Seattle Totems. The signatures feature players from the 1958-1959 team including: Bev Bentley (Goalie); Marc Boileau; Don Chiupka; Bill Davidson; Les Hunt; Gerry Leonard; Bill McFarland; Tom McVie; Jim Powers: Gordie Sinclair; Keith Allan (General Manager); and Dick Bielous (Trainer). The Totems won the Western Hockey League championship that season. The hockey stick was given to Myles Standish, who owned an auto mechanics shop (Auditorium Garage) on Mercer and 5th, near the Civic Ice Arena (later the Seattle Center Coliseum) where the team played. Standish serviced many of the players cars, and he ran the shop from the 1950s through the early 1990s.
