Malcolm Procter, who goes by the artist name of Wolf Delux, creates “wearable paintings” by decorating secondhand clothing with dynamic linework. His energetic and distinctive style is done with paint or bleach to create the desired effect on each garment. Procter is a Black artist and was born and raised in Seattle. His work takes inspiration from many sources, including pop art, video games, African mud cloth, graffiti, and Medu Netcher (hieroglyphics). In addition to his works on clothing, Procter was also a sought-after muralist in 2020 when many businesses were boarded up with plywood.
