This is the first shirt created and distributed by the Microsoft employee group GLEAM (originally Gay, Lesbian, and Bisexual Employees at Microsoft, later renamed Global LGBTQI+ Employee & Allies at Microsoft). This shirt is from the same year that GLEAM became more formally organized under Microsoft's Diversity Advisory Council. These shirts were worn to PRIDE marches, parades, and other events.
