This software package is part of a collection donated by Frank Catalano who was one of the first local broadcast journalists to cover the personal computer revolution in the 1980s. At that time, he created and hosted the weekly Northwest Computing show for KING-AM and, in the 1990s, tracked the tech industry with a long-running "Byte Me" column that first ran in Eastsideweek and then Seattle Weekly. Frank also aired news segments several times each week on KCPQ-TV Seattle until the early 2000s. Splash Studios was an interactive multimedia computer software company based in Redmond, Washington, and released products featuring entertainment, education, child and adult reading, and other observational skills. This program was intended to help children develop logic and problem solving skills in an entertaining way.
