This software package is part of a collection donated by Frank Catalano who was one of the first local broadcast journalists to cover the personal computer revolution in the 1980s. At that time, he created and hosted the weekly Northwest Computing show for KING-AM and, in the 1990s, tracked the tech industry with a long-running "Byte Me" column that first ran in Eastsideweek and then Seattle Weekly. Frank also aired news segments several times each week on KCPQ-TV Seattle until the early 2000s. This package was a promotional sample prior to its release in 1995 and the program was intended to provide a more user-friendly interface for Windows operating systems. The screens showed a "house" with "rooms" that the user could enter and then click on familiar objects that would open specific computer applications. This program was not well-received and was discontinued in early 1996.
