Order an ImageStan Boreson (1925-2017), born in Everett, Washington, was one of Seattle's childrens television pioneers. Starting with his daily KING's Klubhouse in 1950, (later "The Stan Boreson Show"), he and sidekick Doug Setterberg, (a.k.a "Hey You") entertained Seattle's children from around 1950 until 1967. Boreson also had an active recording career. He played the accordion and, through the years, became regionally and internationally known for his humorous "Scandihoovian" parodies, songs, and stories.
