This early Smartphone, developed in 2003, is part of a collection donated by a Microsoft employee who worked at the software company from 1999 to 2004. Microsoft would develop the software and prototype devices and then work with a manufacturing company to build the phones. This was Microsoft's first Smartphone and was only used by employees.
