Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) device, "Hewlett Packard (HP) Jornada 548 Pocket PC," 2000

This early PDA device or Pocket PC (Personal Computer), released in 2000, is part of a collection donated by a Microsoft employee who worked at the software company from 1999 to 2004. Microsoft would develop the software and prototype devices and then work with a manufacturing company, like Hewlett Packard, to build the PDA. The Jornada 548 was an version of the Jornada 420 with USB connectivity and more RAM.
