Ivar's Restaurant hanging clam lamp, ca. 1970s-1980s

Ivar Haglund was a famous Seattle character who established the city's first aquarium on Pier 54 and a fish-and-chips stand that grew to become the renowned "Acres of Clams" restaurant. The clam is a featured promotional item for the restaurant as represented by this iconic hanging decoration.
