Order an ImageThe Seattle Post-Intelligencer was one of Seattle's two long-standing print newspapers since 1863, until it switched to online only format in 2009. It was originally founded as the weekly Seattle Gazette. The name changed to the Post-Intelligencer in 1881 when it was merged with the Seattle Post.
