Olivia Geffner, Seattle teacher at Franklin High and previous MOHAI employee, was a union rep for her school from 2014-2015. She participated in the Seattle Teachers Strike in September 2015. A three-year agreement ended a nearly week-long walk-out of teachers throughout the district. At issue were pay raises, compensation for adding time to the school day, and linking teacher evaluations to test scores.
