Bruce Wallace Butt (1920-2003) was born in Seattle, and lived in Oregon and California at different points in his life. As an artist, he was primarily a watercolorist. An ordained minister, Butt worked as an art director at various advertising agencies in California and Oregon, and was a member of the Puget Sound Group of Northwest Painters. Butte conducted art classes later in life until his death.
