Order an ImageDespite the confusing name, the Milwaukee Sausage Company was started in Seattle by three immigrants (Max Rind from Bohemia, Joseph and Robert Seifert from Hungary) in 1912. They were first located at 20th Avenue and E. Columbia Street before they moved to a newly built building at 2900 4th Avenue in 1937. This toy bank was a promotional item that an employee of the company kept and passed down to his son and grandson.
