Carved walking stick owned by artist Jacob Lawrence, ca. 1970-2000

Jacob Lawrence (1917-2000) was a Black artist known for his portrayal of Black life and his "dynamic cubism" style. Lawrence moved to the Pacific Northwest in 1970, to be an art professor at the University of Washington.
