She skated under the name Astro Glide when she played for the Throttle Rocket team of the Rat City Rollergirls roller derby league based in the White Center neighborhood of Seattle. Kailey states: "This is the cast from breaking my left ankle playing RCRG's season 6 championship bout. I played as 'Astro Glide' (team Throttle Rockets) and tied up with 'Carmen Getsome' (team Grave Danger) in May 2009...It represents an inherent risk of playing roller derby."
