Toy stuffed animal "Fat Cat of the New World Order," 1999
This plush toy is part of a collection of items donated by someone who worked for the Seattle World Trade Organization (WTO) Ministerial Conference, a heavily protested event held in the Seattle Convention Center in November 1999. It is a humorous take on the fact that the protesters called anyone connected to WTO "Fat Cats of the New World Order." This "Fat Cat" was given its own business card for the conference.
