This specific computer was purchased in 1986 by the donor for personal use and school work for his two daughters. His wife used it to store her recipes. The daughters used it for high school and college projects and papers. At one point, one of the daughters was reprimanded by a teacher because she used the computer instead of typing a paper for school. As the donor stated, "Such are the trials of being early users of technology."
