Pink blazer from The Yankee Peddler, ca. 1985-1995
Order an ImageThis 1980s or early 1990s blazer is from The Yankee Peddler, a small local Seattle retail chain which once had stores in Madison Park, University Village, and Downtown Seattle. It is from the estate of sisters Genevieve (1912 - 2008) and Donna Gorder (1921-2018). Genevieve was a teacher and Donna worked as a research technician in medical labs at both the Veteran’s Hospital on Beacon Hill and the University of Washington. They shared a home in Madison Park and enjoyed shopping for (and wearing) designer clothing from local stores.
