Order an ImageLincoln High School was the second purpose-built public high school in Seattle. The first was Seattle High School, later renamed Broadway High School, which opened on Capitol Hill in 1902. Seattle High School was at capacity within a year. Lincoln High School in Wallingford was built in 1906 and opened to students in the fall of 1907. This pennant belonged to Hulda (Lindquist) Nece who was one of the students who started at Lincoln when it opened. She graduated in 1910.
