Atari Basic Computing Language cartridge, ca. 1980
The BASIC computing language was the standard for home computers in the late 1970s to early 1980s. This cartridge, from the Ric Weiland collection, contains a new version of BASIC developed by Atari in 1978. This cartridge is from the Ric Weiland. Mr. Weiland was one of Microsoft's first five employees and a philanthropist, serving on the Pride Foundation's Board of Directors from 1997 to 2002.
