Cotton T-shirt, "Medicine for the People," ca. 1975-1980
This shirt was created as a fundraiser for the Open Door Clinic located in the University District in the late 1970s. Open Door was Washington's first free, 24-hour, multiservice clinic and was open from 1967 to1980. Among its services, the Clinic provided crisis intervention and medical services.
