The donor of this baseball was 11 years old when he was treated by his neighbor to a Seattle Rainiers baseball game at Sicks Stadium in 1963. This was one of the worst seasons in the Rainiers' history as their parent team, the Boston Red Sox, pulled much of the team's talent to the big league level including three starting pitchers. The neighbor collected signatures on the ball and gave it to the donor as a memento. G. Smith, Bill Spanswick, George Spencer, Jerry Stephenson, and Mel Parnell (manager).
