Letter mailed in salmon can from Stuart Trick to his mother, 1929
Order an ImageStuart Trick was an Alaskan cannery worker who hailed from Washington. While working at the Peter Pan Salmon cannery in Chomley, Alaska, Stuart wrote this letter to his mother, dated July 1929, detailing his experiences. He then sent the letter in one of the salmon cans.
