Teen's two-piece outfit with shorts, 1968-1970
Order an ImageLocal high-schooler Lynn Fitzpatrick wore this matching tunic top and shorts outfit in the late 1960s. Her mother Lenore sewed it out of trendy double-knit polyester. Lynn proudly wore the outfit to school but was promptly sent home. Shorts were not allowed under the school dress code at the time.
