This ensemble is made up of a shirt, skirt, and belt. The pink and orange fabric is sheer and would have been worn with an underlayer. It belonged to Lois Rayne Bark (1916-2009) who was a MOHAI staff member for nearly 30 years. She began volunteering at the museum in the 1950s and in 1964 was offered a full-time job as an educator. She later became the costume curator and was known for staging memorable “History of Fashion” exhibitions.
