The MOHAI collection contains an abundant number of souvenirs, tickets, photos, and other ephemera from Century 21, Seattle World's Fair in 1962. This tumbler is from a set of eight souvenir glasses and each depicts a different iconic feature from the fair including: the Coliseum with the Space Needle in the background on a brown tinted glass; a World of Entertainment on a green tinted glass; a World of Art on an orange tinted glass; the Monorail on a green tinted glass; the Boulevards of the World on a red tinted glass; the United States Science Pavilion on a blue tinted glass; and the Hydro-Electric exhibit on a green tinted glass; and this one that features the Space Needle on a blue tinted glass.
