These stylish shoes are believed to have been purchased in Seattle in the early 20th century, representing how the city quickly grew more cosmopolitan as new retail businesses were established to serve sophisticated shoppers. These deep blue, velvet, high-topped shoes feature fifteen mother-of-pearl buttons.
