This handmade ax from Kelly Works was collected by Owen C. Hall. Mr. Hall was a lifelong resident of Seattle and worked in the lumber industry as a logger in Washington State for several years in the late 1930s-early 1940s. He developed a lasting interest in forestry and collected artifacts and images related to the lumber industry.
