Rosaline Clise's dollhouse, ca. 1895
Order an ImageThis dollhouse belonged to Rosaline Hammer when she was a child. Although born in Boston, she lived most of her life in Seattle, marrying Charles Clise in 1913. The Clise family have strong roots in Seattle and they built a hunting lodge in the Redmond area in 1904. The newer furniture, circa 1920s-1950s, indicates that Rosaline's children and grandchildren may have played with the dollhouse as well.
