This award was given to William Jones in 1917 when he was a Boy Scout in Troop #10 at Isaac I. Stevens School in Seattle. Jones was honored by the US Treasury War Service for selling war bonds for the Liberty Loan campaign during World War I with the motto, "Every Scout to Save a Soldier."
