Anna Berggren Clinton, born in Seattle in 1889, was given this chair when she was 11 years old. Her parents, Rudolph and Anna Berggren, came to Seattle before the Great Fire and settled in the Queen Anne neighborhood. Anna Clinton was told by her mother that Kikisoblu (Princess Angeline) often sat in the doorway of their Queen Anne home, drinking coffee, while rocking infant Anna in her cradle.
