The MV Crosline was a 65-car motor ferry, built in 1925 by Marine Construction Company in Seattle, for the Crosby Direct Line Ferry Company. It ran the Alki-Manchester Ferry route on Puget Sound until 1942, when it was purchased and transferred to Vancouver, British Columbia. After World War II, the ferry was purchased by the Washington State Highway Department fo the Tacoma Narrows crossing and other runs in Puget Sound. In 1967, the Crosline was sold from the Washington State Ferries system and, until 1975, was a warehouse on Lake Union until it was moved to Coos Bay, Oregon, to be used as a restaurant.
