Denim “crawler” overalls made by the Black Manufacturing Company, 1910

George G. Black founded the Black Manufacturing Company in Seattle in 1902. Their specialty was durable workwear and outdoor gear, with overalls being one of their leading products. This small version was designed just like durable overalls for an adult but built to withstand heavy crawling! These overalls were worn in Seattle by two sisters when they were between 1 ½ and 2 ½ years old.
