This quilt, made by Mrs. D. M. Walters, won a bronze medal and diploma at the Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition (AYPE) in Seattle. The AYPE had exhibits of all kinds and for all interests, and prizes were awarded to the most impressive or most memorable.
