Time for a summer “block” party at Seattle’s Museum of History & Industry! Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks partners some of the world’s most dazzling and innovative skyscrapers with the world’s most popular building brick. The exhibit features astonishing skyscrapers from North America, Asia and Australia constructed in breathtaking architectural detail by Ryan McNaught, one of only twenty-one LEGO Certified Professionals in the world.
“You can learn a bit about the history of LEGO, watch a video of LEGO creators explaining how they designed and built some of the structures displayed in the exhibit, and use some of the over 200,000 loose LEGO bricks available to build your own creations.” – Ellie White, Seattle’s Child
Visitors will be inspired to create their own ‘towers of tomorrow’ with over 200,000 loose LEGO bricks available in hands-on construction areas. Young and old will be limited only by their imaginations as they add their creations to a steadily rising futuristic LEGO metropolis inside the exhibit. McNaught and his award-winning team of builders have used more than half a million LEGO bricks and devoted over 2,400 hours to build the structures featured in the exhibit.

Towers of Tomorrow with LEGO Bricks is a traveling exhibition produced by Museums of History NSW (MHNSW) and toured internationally by Flying Fish. It includes the following iconic buildings:

Mini-LEGO MOHAI
Come and see a miniature model of MOHAI built entirely with LEGO bricks by local LEGO enthusiast Shane Deegan.
The build uses over 4,000 LEGO pieces and took several hours a day over four weeks. Deegan said of his builds, “You’re building a 3D puzzle as you’re solving it, and building real-life spaces that people are passionate about and familiar with means they’ll appreciate the detail and they’ll notice if I missed something! When I built T-Mobile Park, eagle-eyed baseball fans called me out for including former Mariner Mike Zunino on the scoreboard. I made a promise to always include Mike Zunino in every build I did from that point on!”

Exhibit Highlights
LEGO Donation Drive
MOHAI is partnering with Pass the Bricks to host a LEGO drive!
During the run of the Towers of Tomorrow exhibit, bring your used LEGO bricks to MOHAI and get a $5 off coupon to the MOHAI Mercantile!
Collected LEGO bricks will be donated to Cultivate South Park, where they will be washed, packaged into sets, and distributed to kids and families through the South Park Food Bank.
