For over 135 years, Seattle’s cyclists have shaped the city’s streets, culture, and activism. This small display features objects from MOHAI’s collection alongside loans from local bicycle clubs and nonprofits. Beginning with a 19th-century women’s safety bicycle and cycling suit, it highlights how bicycles have brought people together, opened new possibilities, inspired social change, and transformed how people move through the city.

This Exhibit showcases a handful of cycling-related artifacts.
