The MOHAI Youth Advisors (MYA) are looking for passionate teen photographers in the Seattle area who are willing to share their unique perspectives on the city as part of an in-person and online exhibition.
Submit your photos of places in the city that are important to you or hold special meaning. MYA will then choose a selection of the photographs and pair them with a historic photograph or drawing from the MOHAI collection that shares a similar theme, location, and/or subject.
Works will then be exhibited together with their paired historical image as part of a pop-up exhibit during the summer of 2025.
Our goal is to showcase a variety of perspectives on the city and inspire curiosity about the places around us. We are looking for photos that help share your unique lens on the city, and we will draw threads between it and the history of our region.
