Heather Day, Executive Director. Heather co-founded CAGJ with others who helped organize the 1999 WTO protests and were inspired to build a membership based, multisectoral organization for global justice in Seattle. She was co-chair of the Board for many years before becoming CAGJ’s Director in 2007. She lives in West Seattle with her son Henry.

Walden Bello is a Filipino activist, academic and former elected member of government in the Philippines. He has long served as executive director of the regional policy think-tank Focus on the Global South, and recently authored Global Battlefields: Memoir of a Legendary Public Intellectual from the Global South.

Jonathan Rosenblum is a longtime union and community organizer in Seattle. He currently is working with Amazon workers organizing nationwide from his position as Activist in Residence at the Center for Work and Democracy, Arizona State University, and has a forthcoming book later this year on socialist political struggle in Seattle. He still smells a faint whiff of teargas whenever he is around 2nd and Pike.

Sonja Sivesind is a queer, anti-racist, community acupuncturist. Co-founder of the Direct Action Network, Sonja helped shut down the WTO in 1999 and has been movement building and organizing for social change ongoing.
