Behind the Seams: Union Made

Event Series: Behind the Seams

Please note: Behind the Seams: Union Made has been postponed in response to recent guidance from the Washington State Department of Health and Public Health – Seattle & King County.

For most of the 20th century, the story of American style was also the story of American garment unions. From affordable daywear to glitzy designer evening wear, unions were behind every stitch.

In this intimate one-hour session, join Curator of Collections Clara Berg to view a surprising range of garments from the MOHAI collection that tell local and national stories about America’s garment unions.

Perfect for the mother in your life this Mother’s Day weekend!

For disability accommodations, please contact programs@mohai.org two weeks prior to the event.
