This act of dissent led to her conviction under the Espionage Act. \nThe right to dissent is seen by some as an act of treason\, and by others as an act of patriotism. Join moderator Scott Winn\, civil liberties expert Bryan Adamson\, and historian Lorraine McConaghy to explore patriotism\, pacifism\, and the limits of free speech. \nWorld War I Music: Begin the evening with a special performance of World War I music by a quartet from Orchestra Seattle and Seattle Chamber Singers.
