This exhibition\, curated by Negarra A. Kudumu\, features past Neddy grand prize award recipients—some of the most significant Northwest visual artists of the last quarter century. Light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served. \nThe Neddy Artist Award program is funded by the Behnke Foundation and stewarded by Cornish College of the Arts as a tribute to the Seattle painter and teacher Robert E. [Ned] Behnke (1948-1989).

Enjoy virtual and onsite screenings of queer films from Three Dollar Bill Cinema\, contribute to a community art project on queer legacies\, a take home some memories with a photo booth. \nHoward Russell aka Ladie Chablis is a legendary entertainer. Howard has been performing for over 25 years and owns the longest running drag show in all of Washington State. He also has a sold out brunch show at Taqueria Cantina in downtown Seattle. The exhibit celebrates the enduring innovation and impact of Black architects across the United States. \nFrom the Ground Up: Black Architects and Designers highlights 24 individual architects and designers\, from the late 1800s to today. Visitors will recognize iconic landmarks from across the country and experience stories of people who paved the way for future generations.
